a trip down memory lane - this is the first ad i ever put my hand to, a test for the kodak student commercial award. it could have been a contender, but for the smoking and hard liquor, which resulted in the spot being ineligible for any of the awards. a good concept nonetheless. the wonderful Ed Collins delivered a lip splitting performance on trumpet: no rehearsal, no warm up and he produces this solo on the first take. good times.
